I truly cannot say better things about working with Joanne. She was so incredibly organized, attentive and clear. She made the wedding process so much easier and truly ran the day like a well oiled machine. I interviewed over 7+ planners and what differentiated Joanne from the rest, is that she has the unique super power to remain calm in all situations. Joanne was the "day of coordinator" for our wedding this past weekend. She was simply the best coordinator I could have asked for. She went above and beyond to make sure all details and decorations came through on our wedding day. She had excellent communication with other vendors leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She checked in with me multiple times throughout the planning process to make sure everything was set for the big day. She also offered to help with any last-minute details I was struggling to finish (ie, making bar signs, designing a welcome sign, etc). She even picked up on all non-verbal communication going on in the room, understood what we wanted, and made all dreams come true.
Choosing Joanne as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding process. She turned the planning process from something intimidating and daunting into what ended up being such a fun experience. Initially, we were at a loss for where to start planning our wedding and it often felt like we didn’t even know what we didn’t know. From the moment we started working with Joanne, she provided a clear structure (we love a good checklist in this household!) and thoughtfully helped us figure out what we wanted for our wedding, from figuring out large things like choosing vendors to little things like having a post-reception Uber voucher for our guests. She was super responsive throughout the entire process, whether it was email threads discussing linen colors or text messages coordinating arrivals on the day-of. Speaking of the wedding day itself, we heard from other couples that their wedding days felt like a whirlwind of events that happened TO them. Thanks to Joanne’s smooth coordination, we felt relaxed and fully present, being able to enjoy our special day. Joanne is absolutely incredible, without a doubt the reason our wedding went as smoothly as it did. Throughout the process she was super on top of things, and quickly answered any questions I had (even if they were really silly, she never made me feel dumb for asking) and was so so kind and wonderful especially while dealing with a sensitive situation we were dealing with while planning. Throughout the wedding and the next day at brunch we had several guests come up to us and mention how great she was at keeping things right on time and was kind and helpful to everyone she interacted with.
We could not have asked for a better “day of coordinator”. From the moment we booked with Joanne, even with just “day of” she was present, flexible, responsive, and was always ready with answers to our questions or helpful suggestions. The morning of our wedding, my now husband, forgot to pick up part of our order from a vendor and Joanne noticed the mishap, and ran out herself to pickup the left behind item. Joanne absolutely goes above and beyond, which was noticed by all of our guests, as they’re still sending messages of how on it she was, how hard she was working, and how she kept to the timeline but was flexible when needed.
We selected Events to Woo to help with our month-of wedding coordination, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding services. Joanne and Margaret were very professional, organized, and just all around wonderful people. It's hard to describe all of the things that they did, both large and small, to really make our wedding amazing. From giving us great ideas and recommendations, to driving to a far away store for us the day of our wedding, they exceeded our expectations. I hope more people can have the opportunity to work with these lovely ladies and their great company.
When planning our wedding, we had all of our vendors selected, but didn't know how the production would ultimately come together. We didn't want to "work" our wedding, and that's where Events to Woo came in and saved the day. With the "day-of" coordination option, we had oversight by a trusted team in Margaret and Liz, and they handled everything. We had an incredible day and didn't have to worry about a thing with the timeline or logistics. Even in the days and weeks leading up, when the small details become high priority, Margaret was available to give a second set of eyes and meet with vendors. With the day-of option, I also wanted to be cognizant of not taking advantage of Margaret's time compared to full-service planning. Strongly recommend Events to Woo, for a stress-free day, so you can focus on what matters. 🙂
We were so lucky to have Joanne as our wedding planner! As someone who loves being in control of details, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel handing over the reins, but Joanne’s incredible organization and attention to detail made it easy to trust her completely. On our wedding day, Joanne and her team took care of absolutely everything, down to the smallest details. For example, they offered to make sure the bartenders poured us "water shots" when guests wanted to toast with us so we could pace ourselves through the night while still enjoying the celebration. Joanne also brought us food and dessert through the entire day to ensure we had a chance to eat, which was such a thoughtful touch in the middle of a busy day. What truly stood out was how much Joanne prioritized our needs and concerns. She really listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life seamlessly, even days leading up to the big day even though she was our day-of-coordinator. She was helpful in every way and made the entire experience so much less stressful. If you're looking for someone who will make your wedding day feel effortless and perfect, Joanne is the one!
